How can I support you?

I work with a range of health concerns, from fertility and pregnancy nutrition to balancing hormones for men and women throughout all hormonal lifecycles. Reproductive health doesn't exist in isolation; it's related to every system in the body. Your hormones, gut health, nervous system, nutrition, and even your stress levels all have a part to play.

Women's Health

Reproductive Health for women

Often women don't feel heard when it comes to their health and can live for many years with debilitating symptoms commonly considered to be "normal" before getting the support they need.

Severe menstrual pain, prolonged heaving bleeding, chronic fatigue, PMS and acne can have a major impact on your quality of life and should not have to be endured!

I work with women of all ages to overcome common and complex conditions specifically associated with reproductive health. I will provide you with an in-depth insight into the biochemical processes that may be contributing to the underlying cause and provide you with strategies that will help you to feel balanced, energised and in control of your health.

Pomegranates

I work with women experiencing:

  • Heavy and/or painful periods.

  • Amenorrhea (absence of periods).

  • Recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs).

  • Recurrent Thrush and BV (Candida, Bacterial Vaginosis).

  • Endometriosis and Adenomyosis.

  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).

Preconception care for couples

If you have been struggling to conceive, have been diagnosed with 'unexplained infertility' or are simply looking to optimise your health in the lead up to conception you have come to the right place! I work with couples like you to improve your chances of conception.

4 months is a critical timeframe to enhance sperm and egg quality, rebalance hormones and address underlying health concerns that may be getting in the way of a successful and healthy pregnancy. My Preconception plan for couples includes all the support you and your partner need over a 16 week period.

If you don't have complex fertility challenges but would like a general health reset in the lead up to conception, then my Fertility MOT for couples is a good option.

Pregnancy

pRENATAL NUTRITION SUPPORT

Knowing the right foods to eat to nourish yourself and your baby through pregnancy can be difficult. Working with a nutritional therapist at this time can be so helpful in demystifying some of the common questions around pregnancy nutrition and is an absolute game-changer if you are suffering with common pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness or need nutritional support for complex conditions like gestational diabetes.

I will support you through every major milestone so you can enjoy a healthy pregnancy free from unwanted symptoms and provide your baby with what it needs to thrive.

We will also work together on birth preparation, postpartum and breastfeeding nutrition.

Postpartum nutrition

I work with new mums and not so new mums to support them post birth and in the years following. Whether you have just had a baby or are now a few years down the track and taking care of a toddler it can be hard to focus on your health.

There is little if any support out there for mothers and the physical impact of bearing and raising children and I find women will often run on empty for many years before they realise the toll its taking on their body - sound familiar?

Postnatal depletion is real! Sleep deprivation, hormonal changes, nutritional insufficiency coupled with the emotional and physical strain of being a parent can all contribute to this.

Get in touch to find out how I can support you to get back on track.

WHAT MY CLIENTS SAY

"I went to see Sophie when I was about to start IVF treatment and wanted some support hormonally and nutritionally to put myself and my body in the best position possible.

Sophie was sympathetic, understanding and thorough. The plan I was on felt tailored and appropriate and I felt the benefits really quickly. I think her nutrition and supplement support contributed to me being able to conceive naturally and I now have two healthy babies. I see Sophie for ongoing advice and support - especially during pregnancy, post birth and whilst breastfeeding"
